Trunk Shows & Workshops

Gail LOVES to interact with guilds and groups sharing her trunk show and workshops. These are offered via zoom and when possible in-person.

    1. Gail shares her quilting journey, from just about failing home Economics in high school to teaching quilting classes across North America, Europe and Australia. Several quilts will be shown.

    2. The Glamours life of a quilter on the road.

    1. How Do I Quilt it? —In this workshop we explore how to create a quilting plan. We’ll look at ways to define the purpose and style of the quilt, build a q theme and choose threads to compliment the piecing of the quilt. Participants are invited to submit pictures of quilt tops ahead of time or bring their unfinished quilt tops to class.

    2. Gridwork NOT Guesswork—Laying out designs using gridwork creates even spacing and uniformity in quilting. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to make your own stencils, explore designs that work well within grids and tips and tricks for marking grids on your next quilting project.

    3. Mandala Magic—Mandalas are a fun trend in quilting today. In this workshop, look at ways to build these beautiful designs using symmetry, starting with a doodle.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more.
